Horrible Bosses

Movie Rating: Constantin Xenakis

Comedy with Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey in which three friends decide to eliminate their horrible bosses.

Nick's sadistic superior regularly humiliates him by promising a promotion he'll never get; Kurt is forced to work with the druggy and unethical son of a former boss he liked very much; and Dale, who's in love with his fiancée and doesn't want to cheat on her, is being sexually harassed by his nymphomaniac boss. The trio calls in a hit man, who suggests they take a line from Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train by getting rid of each other's superiors.

Once again the overtly commercial American comedy proves its worth. With talented actors poking fun at their own stardom (Kevin Spacey as a sadist, a sex-obsessed Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell as the son of papa junkie, and Jamie Foxx as the hit man are all hilarious), a script stuffed with one-liners and snappy comebacks, and a solid rhythm, Horrible Bosses is one of the best comedies of the year. Not to be missed!
